I think I'm updating more frequently than I have in years. We will see how long it lasts...

Good news is that I now have access to a scanner and tablet 100% of the time again. I've updated with some speed-paints here on DA, but I've also got upcoming artwork and step-by-step WIP shots on my LiveJournal and Blogspot. It's the same in both places, so if you wish to follow either take your preference.

Most of the stuff I'm working on right now is practice (and mostly faces), but a lot of these are characters I have not illustrated before, so hopefully that will provide for something new.

Hooray for art!

Hehe, I went and bought a thick sketchpad the other day from the store by my apartment... I had been eying it before but convinced myself I didn't need it--until I ran out of paper when I had to do a character design. :P hahaha

Will you be at Anime-Expo this year? I am SO bummed because the dates for both Comic Con and Anime Expo, the only conventions near my home, are both over periods when I'm traveling D: I haven't been to a con in sooo long and I was really hoping to go this year. And of course I'm never on the east coast for, which is a total boo. I hope you have lots of fun though. Good luck with work.
